Spontaneity

April 7th, 2008

A well-known double bind is the request

Be spontaneous!

A friend of mine recently put a neat twist on it by wrapping it up in a question:

Of course, I am so much spontaneous that I am already spontaneously spontaneous.

Annoying people

Ratta woozily spinning around the point

[Ratta utters that all this you and I makes her woozy. Who are we if not us?]

Who is asking?

who is responsible.
I am.
But tell me,
what’s the point?

And there is no but

There is no but.
Things are as they are,
and that’s all.
