Philosophy of science

Philosophy of science is about as useful to scientists as ornithology is to birds.

A quote attributed to Richard Feynman, though published by Steven Weinberg in Nature 330 (1987): p433-. My lying heart likes it as much as it is written from a philosophy of science’s point of view.

I guess use is used to delude us here.
Ornithology doesn`t know how it feels to fly. So birds don`t have to care about.
Philosophy of science knows about scientists. If they go on not caring, they will all end up prodUSEing ornithology.

For some reasons the link for gardening changed from dannie.wordpress.com/2006/08/04/story/ to …/2006/08/22/story/. So, I edited my above comment of 2006-08-04 15:48 to reflect this change.
